All application forms must be filled in full, including names, surnames, identity numbers or date of birth, and contact information.
- All applicants should submit copies of identity documents or birth certificates.
- New members and dependents have to serve a 6-month waiting period.
- Re-joining members also have to serve a 6-month waiting period.
- Failure to pay premiums for 2 months and 2 weeks will result in the lapse of the policy.
- Claims will be paid within 48 hours following the submission of relevant supporting documents. The 48-hour claim period starts every day at 12:00 midday. Documents submitted after this deadline will be processed the next day at 12:00 midday.
- A member can replace a deceased member after the burial.
- Claims must be submitted within six (6) months from the date of death.
- Should a member wish to cancel their membership, they will not be entitled to any form of refund.
- Lost membership policy documents are subject to a charge before re-issue.
- Duration of cover: This funeral cover membership is part of a whole life group funeral policy, meaning that members and dependents will continue to have coverage as long as premiums are paid.
- In the event where two policies have covered one person, only one can make a claim.
- All clients must submit full and complete details of extended membership within 7 days after joining.
- No waiting period will be applicable in the event of accidental death claims on condition that a member has paid the first premium. Existing members previously insured by another provider must complete the duration of the waiting period still outstanding as stipulated in the grace premium period.
- Your cover starts after the receipt of the 1st premium, provided that the insurer has not declined the application within 30 days of applying.
- Immediate cover members can only claim for burial after registering with us and claim for money after three months.
